Nexium Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets (Esomeprazole)

Description

This is a light pink, oblong, biconvex, film-coated, gastro-resistant tablet of 14 mm x 7 mm engraved with ’20 MG’ on one side and ‘A/EH’ on the other side.
We are licenced to sell this tablet for the short-term remedy of reflux symptoms (e.g., heartburn and acid
regurgitation) in adults ONLY.

Dose
The daily recommendation is to take ONE tablet (20 mg esomeprazole) each day.

Ingredients
This is for oral use and each gastro-resistant tablet is made up of 20 mg esomeprazole (as magnesium
trihydrate), and each tablet also contains 28 mg sucrose. More information will be provided on the
information leaflet.

Method of administration
The tablets are to be swallowed whole with HALF a glass of water. Not to be crushed or chewed. If you are experiencing difficulties in swallowing, the alternative option is to disperse the tablet in HALF a glass of non-carbonated water. This is the ONLY liquid recommended by manufacturers to be used as the enteric coating may be dissolved.

It is recommended you stir the water until the tablet breaks up.
The liquid with the tablet bits should be drunk instantaneously or within 30 minutes. To get the full
recommended dose, we recommend the used glass should be rinsed with half a glass of water and the water drunk. The bis should not be chewed or crushed.
